MAX KILPATRICK Funeral Tuesday

Winterset Madisonian
February 1, 1978

Max L. Kilpatrick, 67, died Saturday, January 28, 1978, at Winterset Care Center North, where he was a resident. He was born April 23, 1910, in Montgomery County, Iowa.

The son of Charles and Pearl McKeig Kilpatrick, he was a resident of Madison County for 50 years, a retired farmer who worked extensively in blue grass harvesting.

Mr. Kilpatrick was a Mason, Shriner, a member of the Rotary Club and past deacon and trustee of the Christian Church.

His marriage to Catherine Clark took place June 20, 1936, in Madison County. She survives her husband.

Also surviving are two daughters, Harriet Husted of St. Charles, Phyllis Woodley of Winterset; his mother, Pearl McKeig Kilpatrick of Winterset, four grandchildren and a brother, Clyde Kilpatrick of Lorimor. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 31, 1978, at 10:30 a.m. from the First Christian Church with Masonic Rites. Rev. David Livingston presided. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
