Funeral services for Edna Ann Clark, 89, of Winterset were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 8, at Collins Funeral Home with Rev. David Livingston officiating.
Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Mrs. Clark died Saturday, October 6, 1979, at Winterset Care Center North, where she had been a resident since 1974.
Born on May 13, 1890 at Patterson, she was the daughter of William H. and Arminta DeBord Doan. She attended Patterson School and then to State Normal School at Shenandoah, before teaching at vaious schools in Madison County.
She was married to Clarence Alonzo "Lon" Clark on February 23, 1913 in Winterset. A lifelong resident of Madison County.
Mrs. Clark was a member of Clover Club and a past member of Columbian Club. A former member of Ord Christian Union Church, she later transferred her membership to the First Christian Church in Winterset.
Surviving are her daughter, Catherine Kilpatrick of Winterset; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
