EDNA ROBINSON

Funeral services for Edna Nellie Robinson, 85, were held Sat. Jan. 5 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Lautt officiating. She died January 2 of Parkinson's Disease at Winterset Care Center North where she was a resident.

A lifelong Madison County resident, she was born June 14, 1905 to Ruben and Mary (Childers) Kay in Madison County. She married Vivian L. Robinson December 29, 1926 in Winterset. She was a retired school teacher, having taught for the Winterset schools. She was a member of the Iowa State Education Association, the National Association of Retired Teachers, a life social member of the Winterset Community Educational Association, the Columbian Club and the First United Methodist Church in Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband two brothers, four sisters and an infant son.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne of Winterset and Delmar of Redding, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
