Georgia G. Zink, 94, of Winterset, died of a kidney ailment March 25, 1997 at Community Care of Winterset. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 2 at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Bobby Dickerson will officiate the services and burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon-8 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m.

She was born in Glenwood, Minn. on Sept. 3, 1902 to Charles and Rhoda (Gillespie) Neel. She married Simon Zink on Oct. 20, 1920 at Berkely. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Winterset for the past 77 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the First Christian Church in Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons; five brothers, and three sisters.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Robert Zink and wife Marcelene and Harold Zink and wife Shirley, all of Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Bernadine Hager and husband William of Dennis, Mass., Doris Pearson and husband Richard of Trotwood, Ohio, and Georgia Nichols of Colorado Springs, Colo; one brother, James Neel of Boone; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
