ANNA CLINE

Mrs. Anna Cline of Winterset died Sunday, April 30 at Madison Manor in Winterset. She was 74 years of age.

Mrs. Cline was a life-long resident of Madison county, with the exception of three years in Mitchellville. She was the former Anna Picken, daughter of William J. and Martha (Dickey) Picken. She was born at St. Charles on March 20, 1898.

She was married at Osceola on Nov. 10, 1921, to Walter Cline. His death occurred Feb. 21, 1969.

Mrs. Cline was a member of the United Presbyterian church. She was affiliated with the World War I auxiliary and the Metallic Club.

She is survived by five children, Mrs. Artis Fenimore of Mitchellville, Mrs. Beverly Harridge of Mitchellville, Keller Cline of Des Moines, Mrs. Marilyn McNamara of Winterset, and Mrs. Dixie Young of San Antonio, Tex. She also leaves 12 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Jones of Winterset and Mrs. Carrie Lathrum of St. Charles.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. John E. Fink, pastor of the Winterset United Presbyterian church. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
