EARLHAM - A funeral for Guy W. Wright, 84, formerly of Earlham, was held March 6, 1993 at the Friends Church at Earlham, with burial following at Earlham Cemetery. Mr. Wright died of a heart ailment on March 2 at Morton Plant Hospital at Clearwater, Fla.
The son of Alva and Pearl McKibben Wright, he was born in Madison County on Nov. 1, 1908. He married Cynthia Brown of Oskaloosa on April 5, 1931. He was a farmer in the Earlham area. For the past 31 years, he had lived at Florida, where he managed mobile home retirement parks and did volunteer work at Morton Plant Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia; by his parents; by four brothers; and by one sister.
Survivors include a niece, Dixie Smith of Earlham.
