Betty Kiddoo, 71, of Winterset died of cancer Sept. 3, 1995 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Funeral services were today, Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. The Rev. David Bauer officiated the services and burial was at the Moon Cemetery in Macksburg.
She was born March 22, 1924, in Decatur County to William Edward and Hazel Gwendolyn (Sutherlin) Butcher. She married Raymond F. Kiddoo on Nov. 18, 1944 in Winterset. She was a homemaker and a resident of Winterset for the past 60 years. She was a member of the Wayside Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and six brothers.
Surviving relatives include her husband; three sons, Steve Kiddoo and wife Ruth Ann of Winterset, Jeff Kiddoo and wife Parry of Lorimor and Tony Kiddoo and wife Theresea of Polk City. Three daughters, Jeanette Scoles and husband Jim of Winterset, Chris Eyerly and husband Don of Winterset and Debbie Waltz and husband David of Winterset; one brother, Frank Butcher and wife Lois of Indianola; one sister Donna Pettit of Winterset; two brothers-in-law, Don Garrett of Macksburg and Bill Kiddoo and wife Patty of San Jose Calif. three susters-in-law, Esther Butcher, of Alamogordo, New Mexico; 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
