25 October 1995Clair Harrison, 86, of Winterset, died or a respiratory ailment Oct. 19, 1995 at the Community Care Center of Winterset. Funeral services were Oct. 21 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Burial was at the Moon Cemetery in Macksburg.
He was born Aug. 18, 1909 in Macksburg to John Guy and Nalda (Coomans) Harrison. He married Opal Wick who died in 1954. He later married Patricia Ann Jenkins on Feb. 4, 1961 at Des Moines. He was a retired truck driver, having worked for Cooper Truck Lines for over 20 years. He had lived most of his lifetime in Madison County and farmed for several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; two sons; four brothers; and four sisters.
Surviving relatives include one sister, Berniece Williams of Creston; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
