ISABELLA WIEDMANN Services Held

Isabella Wiedmann of near St. Charles, a life-long resident of Madison and Warren Counties, died Sunday, January 14, 1973, after an extended illness. She was 74 years of age.

Miss Wiedmann spen most of her life in Crawford Township where she was born August 2, 1898, a daughter of William and Isabelle Kilduff Wiedmann.

Over a long period of years she was an active member of the Altar Rosary Society of Assumption Catholic Church in Churchville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Kate, and four brothers, William, Frank, Tom and John Wiedmann.

She leaves a sister, Mrs. Rose Nehring of St. Charles and six nieces and nephews whom she raised after the death of their mother. They are: Tom Wiedmann of Prole, Mrs. Mary Strable of St. Charles, Mrs. Ellen Dooley of Adel, Mrs. Margaret McLaughlin of Cumming, Mrs. Alice Harkin of Des Moines and Pat Wiedmann of Cumming.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Church of the Assumption at Churchville with the Revs. Richard Bergman and Michael Churchman celebrating the Mass. Burial was made in Calvary cemetery at Churchville.

MISS ISABELLA WIEDMANN

Services for Miss Isabella Wiedmann, 74, of rural St. Charles will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Assumption in the Warren County community of Churchville. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Miss Wiedmann died of cancer Sunday at her home.

Born in and a longtime resident of Madison County, she had lived in Warren County six years. Miss Wiedmann was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Church of the Assumption parish.

The rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Parish Hall in Churchville.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Rose Nehring of St. Charles; and six foster children, Tom Wiedmann of Prole; Mary Strable of St. Charles; Ellen Dooley of Adel; Margaret McLaughlin and Pat Wiedmann of Cummings, and Alice Harkin of Des Moines.
