Mabel Ann Nelson, 92, Osceola, died Aug. 14, 1994 of a heart ailment at the Clarke County Hospital in Osceola. Funeral services were today, Wed., at the Truro Congregational United Church of Christ at 11 a.m. the Rev. Richard Harbart of Des Moines officiated with burial at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Madison County.

She was born Sept. 26, 1901 in Solon to Thomas and Ann (Arthur) Ham. She was married Feb. 19, 1922 to Bert William Nelson in Winterset. She was a homemaker and a member of the Madison Chapel Church and the Madison Chapel Ladies Aid.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son; seven brothers; two sisters; one son-in-law; and one grandson.

Surviving relatives include one son, Raymond Nelson and wife Louise of Truro; one daughter, Betty Ann Green of Osceola; one daughter-in-law, Isabel Nelson of Truro; one sister, Blanche Livingston of Winterset; one sister-in-law, Iris Ham of Winterset; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
