ELSIE A. MARXEN

Elsie A. Marxen, 72, died of a heart ailment March 20 (1992) at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Mon. March 23 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating.

She was born in Grand Mound on February 26, 1920 to Richard Cole and Alfrieda (Beckman) Cole and married Louie E. Marxen May 8, 1954 in Cambridge, Ill. She was homemaker and a volunteer at Bethesda Care Center for many years. She moved to Winterset 38 years ago, coming from the Davenport area.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and three sisters. Surviving are a sister, Erna Finck of Durant; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial was at Moon Cemetery, Macksburg,
