Karen J. Woods, 61, of Urbandale died Feb. 21, 2005 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services were held Friday Feb. 25 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines. Burial was at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Karen Woods was born March 1, 1943, in Winterset to Clarence and Bellezora Lucas. Karen had worked as a customer service representative for Community Choice Credit Union.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce; one daughter, Jayne Woods; two sons, Todd Woods and Troy Woods; her parents, Clarence and Bellezora Lucas of Winterset; three sister, Dianna Jencks, Kristin Hibbs and Marsha Freed; and four grandchildren.
