Flossie Estella Meehan, 88, of Mason City, formerly of Macksburg, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 1990, at the Good Shepherd Home in Mason City.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Moon Cemetery, Macksburg. The Keating-Lindsay Golden Rule Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Meehan was born Dec. 16, 1902 in Macksburg to Samuel E. and Mary E. (McKenzie) Bonham. She married Ed Bass in Winterset and he died in 1927.

She was a longtime resident of Macksburg and co-owner of Bonham Grocery at Macksburg. She had lived at the Good Shepherd Home for several years. She cooked in the nursing home and was a member of the Baptist Church and the Macksburg Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include a niece and a grand niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and a brother.
