June White Graves, 83, of Winterset died of complications of pneumonia Sept. 3, 1999, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Winterset with Lewis H. Jordan officiating. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.

June Graves was born June 28, 1916, to Thomas and Inez (Butler) White of Gilman, Ill. She married Donald H. Graves on Dec. 12, 1942, in Chicago. A resident of Winterset for 54 years, she owned Graves Clothing Store from 1945 to 1985. She also was employed by Panorama Casual. June was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Progressive Study Club and Trinity Episcopal Church in Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by a son, Kirk C. Graves (wife Kendra) of Woodbury, Minn.; a daughter, Penny D. Moehn (husband Paul) of Urbandale; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
