ROSE TAYLOR

Rose Mae (Henson) Taylor, 61, of Winterset died May 22, 2005 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, May 25) at the First Christian Church in Winterset with Pastor Joan White officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Rose Taylor was born Aug. 19, 1943, in Madison County to Wilmer and Irene (Hooper) Henson. On Oct. 20 1962, she married Ronald E. Taylor at the First Christian Church in Winterset. During her working career, Rose did clerical work-beginning her career at Guardsman Life Company and most recently working for American Family Insurance in West Des Moiones. She was an active member of the Christian Church in Winterset.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Nuzum and Marjorie Baker.

She is survived by her husband Ron, of Winterset; one son, Charles (Chuck) F. Taylor; two daughters, Vanessa L. Hendrickson and Stephanie S. Warburton; a sister, Elizabeth (Liz) McCullough; two brothers, Bob Henson and Don Henson; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
