Thursday, December 19, 1907Geo. W. Harrell was born Oct. 19th, 1891, and died Dec. 12th, 1907. George was a boy of amiable disposition, and was liked by all who knew him. His sickness was of short duration, and on Sunday before he died on Friday, several of his friends called on him, little thinking that he was so soon to be called away. Death is no respector of persons, laying his icy hands on the young as well as the old.
He leaves to mourn their loss father, mother, and five brothers. One sister having died in early childhood.
The large funeral prosession indicated the esteem in which George was held. The services were held at the home conducted by Rev. E. E. Bennett, of the Christian church, after which the remains were taken to the Beardsley cemetery for interment.
