Wayne Kirk Cochran, 43, of Lorimor, died of a heart attack May 24, 1997 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Funeral services are today Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Neil Platon and Pastor Don Frank will officiate the services and burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.

He was born in Council Bluffs on Oct. 1, 1953 to Kirk and Nellie (Black) Cochran. He was a 1971 graduate of Orient-Macksburg High School. He was a farmer and a carpet layer. He was a lifetime resident of Madison County. He was a member of the American Registered Quarter Horse Association and a member of the Macksburg United Methodist Church.

Surviving relatives include his parents.
