Bernice Fazio, 77, of Winterset died of a heart ailment Sturday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winterset, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mrs. Fazio was born in Des Moines and had lived in Winterset for eight years. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Dick of West Des Moines, Tom of Chariton and Tony of Cold Springs, Minn.; two daughters, Dolores O'Neal of Edgerton, Kan., and Pat Fluharty of Indianola; a brother, Harold Fazio of Joplin, Mo; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the church, where a vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. and a Scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Collins Funeral Home in Winterset
