VIRGINIA PATTERSON STONE

Virginia Stone, 77, of Sun Lakes, Ariz. died May 3, 1999. Funeral services will held at 10 a.m. Thursday May 6 at the Chandler Christian Church in Chandler, Ariz.

Virginia Stone was born June 15, 1917 in Madison County to Bradley M. and Lucille (Smith) Patterson. She received her education at Drake University where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She had retired as a credit manager for Bilstein Corp. of San Diego, Calif. where she had worked for many years. Virginia was a member and past president of the Business and Professional Women in Malvern, Iowa.

She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Ray of Jonesborough, Tenn.; two sisters, Martha Gurney of Sun Lakes and Mary Duncan of Minneapolis, Minn.; one brother, Bill Patterson of Winterset; and one grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association, 2929 S 48th St., Tempe, Ariz., 85282. Funeral arrangements were handled by Bueler Mortuary in Chandler.
