MRS. JOHN McKEE Died Thursday

Mrs. John L. McKee, a life-time resident of Madison County, died Thursday, April 20, 1972, at her home in Winterset. She was 78 years of age.

Mrs. McKee was the former Elsie Caroline Addy, daughter of John E. and Eliza McDonald Addy. She was born at Winterset Oct. 4, 1893. She was married Dec. 24, 1914, to John L. McKee. His death occurred on Jan. 5 of this year.

Mrs. McKee was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Winterset.

She leaves three sons, Donald McKee of Creston, Gayle McKee of Winterset and Melvin McKee of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Spence and Mrs. Mary Wagner, both of Winterset.

Two sons, Harold and Calvin, died at birth.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the First United Presbyterian church in Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. John E. Fink. Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
