JOHN L. McKEE Died January 5

John L. McKee of Winterset, a retired farmer and an official of the Madison County ASCS for 30 years, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1972, at Madison Manor here. He was 77 years of age.

Mr. McKee had been a resident of Madison county for 70 years. He was born at Crawfordsville on Aug. 9, 1894, a son of Thomas and Anna M. Gormley McKee.

His active life was spent in Madison County. He was married on Dec. 24, 1914, to Elsie C. Addy, who survives him. He also leaves three sons, Donald McKee of Creston, Melvin McKee of Denver, Colo., and Gayle McKee of Winterset; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two brothers, Bert McKee of Winterset and Dean McKee of California.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the First United Presbyterian church here, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. John E. Fink. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
