Funeral services for Lucille Patterson, 91, were held March 2 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating. Patterson died Wed. Feb. 27 at Bethesda Care Center, where she was a resident.
A lifelong resident of Winterset, she was born March 1, 1899 to Andrew Jackson and Sylvia Ann Armstrong Smith. She married Bradley M. Patterson July 29, 1920 in Des Moines. She was a homemaker, member of First Christian Church, 50+ member of Eastern Star Lodge, 50+ member of Crown Rebekah Lodge, Past Noble Grands and V.F.W. Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter and three brothers.
Survivors include a son, William D. of Winterset; three daughters, Virginia Stone of San Diego, Calif., Martha Gurney of Redding, Calif., and Mary Duncan of Minneapolis, Minn., a sister, Lenore Radakovitch of Lodi, Calif., five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church.
