Casey Michael Marean, 19, of Winterset died Oct. 23, 1999, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset. Burial was at Peru Cemetery.
Casey Marean was born July 29, 1980, in Des Moines to Michael D. and Peggy S. (Baker) Marean. He attended Winterst Atlernative High School and was employed part time by Mark Marean Construction as a framer.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, an uncle and eight great-grandparents.
He is survived by his mother of Peru; his father of Wautoma, Wis.; a sister, Shanda Baker (and friend Brad Hughes) of Winterset; grandparents Dan and Shirley Givant and Jane and Max Marean, all of Peru; and special friend Robyn Wren of Winterset.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a fund established in Casey's name.
