Osceola - Robert William Alexander, 31, 801 E. McLane Street, Osceola, died July 26, 1998, in a vehicle accident on Highwary 65 near Corydon.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. July 30 at the Peru Cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Spindler of Creston officiating. There is open visitation after 9 a.m. Wednesday with the family receiving friends 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main Street, Osceola.
Mr. Alexander was born March 3, 1967, in Des Moines to Robert Lewis and Gwendolyn (Lehmer) Alexander. He attended East Union and Clarke schools and truck driving school in Des Moines. He was a driver for Big and Small trucking of Woodburn, and most of his life was spent in Clarke County.
Survivors include a son, Brandon; a daughter, Kayla; his mother, Gwen Lafferty of Creston; stepfather, Alfred Lafferty of Longmont, Colo.; a sister, Jodine (husband Brian) Purdy of Creston and a grandmother, Catherine Lafferty of Thayer.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Louis and Eula Lehmer and William Lafferty, and a brother, Michael Alexander.
