William Fenimore, Texas

William Bryan Fenimore, 93, of Borger, Texas, formerly of Peru, died of a heart ailment Nov. 29, 1996 at his residence. Funeral services will be today, Wed. Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro. Pastor Joan White will officiate the services and burial will be at the Peru Cemetery. Masonic Rites will be presented by Evening Star Lodge 43 of Winterset.

He was born in Peru on Feb. 2, 1903 to Anderson and Mattie (Sawhill) Fenimore. He married Leona O'Brien on April 15, 1923 in Peru. He was Postmaster at Peru for 33 years before retiring in 1971. He was a lifetime resident of Peru before moving to Texas. He was a member of the Evening Star Masonic Lodge in Winterset; the league bowling in Winterset, and the United Methodist Church in Peru.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving relatives include his wife; one son, Richard Fenimore of Novato, Calif.; one daughter, Dottie Mack of Borger, Texas; one sister, Flossie Herewehe of Norwalk; one brother, Clair Fenimore of Peru and Tucson, Ariz; four granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
