Eva Fisher, Winterset

Eva Luetta Fisher, 93, died March 24, 1999, at Integrated Health Services in Winterset.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 26, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. Duane Churchman officiating. Burial was at Barney Cemetery.

Eva Fisher was born Jan. 16, 1906, to Cyrus Royal and Josie Maude (Walter) Patterson of Dean. She was a resident of Madison County for 66 years, having previously resided in Lorimor. Her marriage to Levi Fisher took place Aug. 16, 1930, in Atlantic. She was a retired manager of the Union State Bank in Macksburg. Eva was a member of the Macksburg Garden Club, Macksburg Relief Corps, WSCS (Methodist Church) and the Macksburg United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and three sisters.

She is survived by three daughters, Carlotta Sawyer (husband Philip) of Denver, Colo., Louise Hart (husband John) of Winterset and Carolyn Thrailkill (husband Ramon) of Rogers. Ariz.; one sister, Vera Hegg of Selma, Calif.; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
