Miron Burd, who lived here fifty years ago, passed away at his home near Campo, Colorado, March 8th(?). He was the eldest son of S. S. and Mary Burd, coming to Madison county when he was about four years old. He is survived by his wife and four children and three brothers, Henry Burd of this city, Wynt Burd of Monte Vista, Colorado, and Leonard Burd of Monteville, Minnesota.
