Mrs. William Elsbury

Nancy Ann Hart, daughter of George W & Sarah Hart was born in Hillsbourgh, Highland County, Ohio Oct. 16, 1843 and departed this life April 21, 1923, aged 79 years, 6 months and 5 days.

She came with her parents to Iowa in June 1855, where she since made her home. She was married to Wm. N. Elsbury, Nov. 2, 1862. To this union were born seven children, five daughters and two sons.

All are living except the husband and one son who preceded her in death.

She was converted many years ago and joined the Pleasant View M. E. church, later transferring her membership to the Oak Grove church, and later to the Methodist church in Winterset of where she was a member to the time of her death.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. D. J. Shenton. Burial took place in the Wight cemetery.
