Death of Rev. Henry Decker

Dr. and Mrs. Fred Decker received word last Wednesday night of the death of the former's brother, the Reverend Henry Decker, of Harley, New York. The deceased was only 28 years of age and it is thought that heart trouble caused his sudden death. He had not been ill and was attending a picnic with a group of young people from his church, when he complained of not feeling well. He received medical attention and it was thought that he felt better, but he died shortly afterwards. The body was taken back to Rock Rapids, where funeral services were held on Monday, August 26th. Dr. and Mrs. Decker returned to Winterset Tuesday night.
