Death of Mrs. John Moline

Mrs. John Moline, a former resident of Madison county, died at her home at Williston, North Dakota, on Thursday, July 18th, after a short illness of two weeks. She was 64 years old. Mrs. Clyde Wynkoop of Earlham, is a sister of Mrs. Moline. The following account of her death was published in the Williams County Farmer's Press, at Williston, North Dakota:

Lucy Jane Feitz was born in Holmes county, Ohio, and after a short residence moved with her parents to Madison county, Iowa. While residing there she attended school and graduated from Dexter normal school and later attended the State Teachers college at Cedar Falls. She became a member of the United Presbyterian church while still in her girlhood. She was very successful as a teacher in the public schools of Iowa for many years before coming to North Dakota in the year 1902. She proved up a homestead 14 miles north of Williston and while there became acquainted with her future husband, John Moline. They were married in the year 1908 and since that time have resided on their farm, 13 miles north of town, in Tyrone township. Being a kindly disposition, devoted to her home and friends, always disposed to be of service to all she came in contact with, she endeared herself not only to a happy home where her devotion cast sunshine and gladness to all that passed that way, but also to the many friends, all of whom now realize the loss sustained by the community.

Being an active member of the Spring Coulee Benefit club, which is a community club for advancement and pleasure in the community, her resourceful personality added materially in all the work undertaken by the club.

The following relatives deeply mourn her loss: Her husband, John Moline; her sister, Mrs. Clyde Wynkoop of Earlham, Iowa; three brothers, J. H. Feitz of Monterey Park, California; D. A. Feitz of Antonito, Colorado, and Charles Feitz of LaJara Colorado. Two other sisters have preceded her to their heavenly rest: Mrs. Carrie Rankin and Mrs. Emma Hodson.

Death came very quietly and peacefully July 18, at 12:25 a.m., after an illness of almost two weeks.
