CLEO LUCILLE BINDEL

Cleo Lucille Bindel, one of three children born to George Virgil Snyder and Nettie Vandewater Snyder was born at Greenfield, Iowa, April 11, 1908. She was a resident of Madison County for more than 50 years.

On December 12, 1935 she was joined in marriage to Leonard F. Bindel who passed away July 30, 1974. There were eight children born to this union: Mary Katherine Bodwell of Earlham; Carl Bindel of Perry; Frank Bindel of Kansas City, Missouri; Leona Nanney of Great Lakes, Illinois; Eva Harrison of Lorimor, Iowa; Louise Snell of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Charles Bindel of Des Moines, Wilma Havens preceded her mother in death.

Cleo's passing leaves her mother, Nettie, who is 91 years old, her sister Essie of Winterset, her children and 15 grandchildren to mourn her. She will be remembered by a host of friends in Madison County and by those who shared the last years of her life in Earlham where she recently resided. She will be missed by all who knew her cheerful smile.
