Carol Ann McKenzie, 58, of St. Charles died Jan. 3, 2006, at her home.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 6, at Grace Church in Des Moines. Burial was at Sunset Cemetery in rural Moulton.
Carol McKenzie was born Sept. 17, 1947, in Des Moines to James and Florence Horn. She grew up in Des Moines and had been a resident of St. Charles since 1975. Carol was a former manager of Trask Jewelry Store in Winterset. Previously, she had worked for the Potting Shed in St. Charles. She was a member of the Capital City Baptist Church in Des Moines during her youth and a former member of Grace Baptist Church in New Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Linda Allen.
She is survived by her husband, Roger McKenzie of St. Charles; two sons, Rusty McKenzie of Indianola and Roger McKenzie of Norwalk; one daughter, Keli Brown of Leon; her mother, Florence Horn of Kansas; a brother, Mike Horn of Kansas; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s memory.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola.
