Mrs. M. S. Hezzlewood Dies

Word was received here yesterday of the death of Mrs. Gladys Tate Hezzlewood, at her home in Minneapolis, on Monday, October 21st. Her mother, Mrs. A. L. Tate, sent a card to Winterset friends, stating that she passed away Monday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock.

Mr. and Mrs. Tate were summoned to Minneapolis, Sunday afternoon, by the critical illness of their daughter, but the nature of the illness was not stated.

Mrs. Hezzlewood was raised in this community and was graduated from the Winterset high school. She attended Drake University, and has made her home in Minneapolis for some time. She leaves her husband and their three daughters, the baby being only six weeks of age. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Tate of Winterset; two brothers, Ralph of Minneapolis, and Alfred of Buffalo, New York, and three sisters, Mrs. Phillip Sproul of Des Moines; Mrs. Charles Rhyno of Osceola, and Mrs. William Stephens of Minneapolis.
