Virginia Crow, 74, of Clarinda, Iowa died Oct. 10, 2001, at Kavanaugh House in Des Moines.
Services were held Sat. Oct. 13 at the First United Methodist Church in Clarinda, with burial in Moon Cemetery in Macksburg. The Rev. Walden Paige officiated.
Virginia May Crow was born Dec. 8, 1926 in Kansas City, Mo., to Perry Cutshall and Ida (Chase) Cutshall. She grew up near Van Meter, Iowa and was a 1945 graduate of Winterset High School.On Aug. 25, 1946, she married Nelson E. Crow. Virginia was a social worker at the Mental Health Institute of Clarinda for over 30 years. She was active in the First United Methodist Church in Clarinda with a special interest in the Sew N Share Room and the United Methodist Women.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda McConahay (former husband Richard) of Des Moines; Claire McConahay of Portland, Ore.; a brother Robert Cutshall (wife Judy) of Van Meter; and a grandson.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Walker-Merrick Funeral Home in Clarinda.
