Pearl Beaman, daughter of William and Sarah Hutchinson, was born in Williams Township, Calhoun County, close to Jolley, Iowa on January 17, 1896, and passed away January 19, 1966. She received her schooling in a country school near Jolley and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lytton until she transferred her membership to the First Presbyterian Church of Earlham.
On March 17, 1942, she was united in marriage to Frank Beaman of Grant City, Missouri. She leaves to mourn her passing one brother, Lloyd, of Lytton, a number of devoted nieces and nephews, besides other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Dexter, IowaPearl Beaman Dies
DEXTER: Death caused by a coronary attack came to Mrs. Pearl Beaman, 72, of near Earlham Wednesday afternoon, January 19. She was making her usual trip to Dexter for supplies and died at the wheel of her auto on a Dexter street. Her car ran against a tree in Dean Schirm’s yard. The ignition had been turned off.
She was the widow of Frank Beaman, uncle of our local Harvey Beaman and Mrs. Dick Hoadley. A brother, Lloyd Hutchinson of Lytton, also nieces and nephews survive.
Health had failed her for several years. Her hearty laugh, her friendliness and quiet ways will be remembered by those who knew and loved her. Evans Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements at the Earlham Presbyterian church Saturday. Rev. Redshaw was in charge of the services. Her six nephews were pall bearers, Frank Junkin was soloist and Mrs. Fred Fry was organist. Her body was interred at Earlham cemetery.
