JUNE MINER EASTER, Spencer

Mrs. Jack Easter, a former well-known resident
died Sunday, March 10, 1974, at the Municipal
hospital in Spencer,Iowa. She was 46 years of age.

The former June Miner, she was born June 4, 1927,
at Clearfield,Iowa, a daughter of Arthur and Lola Snyder Miner. She attended Winterset schools, graduating from Winterset High School in 1945.

On Feb. 12, 1949 she was married to Jack Easter of
this community. She worked for an insurance
company and Social Welfare in Des Moines,and later
with her husband operated a commercial photography
studio in Winterset.

In 1960, they moved from Winterset to Altoona,Iowa
and in 1967 to Spencer, where Mr. Easter became
cashier of the Farmers Trust and Savings Bank.

Mrs. Easter is survived by her husband, a son, Jay
and two daughters, Jill and Jean, all at home; a
brother, Woodrow Miner of Winterset.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday afternoon,
March 12, from the First Christian Church in
Spencer, with the Rev. Keith Purscell officiating.
Burial was in Riverside cemetery at Spencer.
