Services for Wilbur Forsyth, 68, Winteret, who died June 28 at his residence, were held Sat., June 30, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. David Bauer officiating. Burial was at the Clark Cemetery in Madison County.

Born in Pottawattamie County on March 3, 1922, he was the son of Leon and Lillian Lisher Forsyth. He was a retired plant operator at the Winterset Municipal Light Plant.

He was married to Louise McKibban on February 25, 1942 at Bethany, Mo.

Mr. Forsyth had lived here for most of his lifetime.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Leo and Michael; and a daughter, Mary Cline, all of Winterset; a brother, Frank Forsyth of LaPine, Ore.; sisters, Leonore Richardson of Winterset and Elva Stroeber of Dallas Center; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
