Mrs. Swanson’s Rites Thursday

Services for Mrs. Minnie Shannon Swanson, 74, or 3603 Center Street, a resident of Des Moines 68 years, will be at 3 p. m. Thursday at Hamilton’s funeral home with burial in Woodland Cemetery. Mrs. Swanson died as a result of a stroke Tuesday at her home.

She was born in Madison County. In Des Moines, Mrs. Swanson was a member of Williamson circle, Ladies of Grand Army of the Republic, Daughters of Union Veterans, and Grace Methodist church.

Surviving is her husband, Harry and one brother, William Shannon of Cedar Rapids.
