Death of Mrs. A. R. Logan

Mrs. A. R. Logan died at her home in Winterset, Friday, April 13th, after an illness of several months, with cancer and complications. Mrs. Logan, who was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Foreman, was born at West Point, in Lee county, July 6th, 1864. She was married to Robert A. Logan, February 2, 1893, who with one son Ernest, survives her.

Mr. and Mrs. Logan came to Madison county in 1885, and they engaged in farming until two years ago, when they moved to Winterset. At that time she united with the Baptist church. Mrs. Logan is also survived by four grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Effie French of Boise, Idaho.

The Rev. A. S. Hueser conducted the funeral service at the Tidrick funeral home, Monday, April 16th, and burial was in the Winterset cemetery.

Mortuary - Mrs. A. R. Logan

Alice L. Foreman, daughter of Wm. and Martha Foreman, was born at West Point, Lee county, Iowa, July 6th, 1864.

Her girlhood was spent there and she was married to Robert A. Logan February 2nd, 1883. To this union was born one son, Ernest Logan. They moved to Madison county in 1885, where they engaged in farming until two years ago, when they moved to Winterset. She united with the Winterset Baptist church in 1926.

She passed away after a few month's illness on April 13, 1928, aged 63 years, 9 months and 7 days. She leaves beside her husband and son, four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Effie French, of Boise, Idaho.

Rev. A. S. Hueser conductd the funeral service in the Tidrick funeral home Monday afernoon, April 16, and the interment was in the Winterset cemetery.
