Services for Denison "Denny" Crawford, 40, were held Mon., Dec. 4, at the DeSoto Methodist Church, where he was a member. Rev. Les Hesseline officiated. Burial was at the Worthington Cemetery.

Born Nov. 17, 1949, in Dexter, he was the son of D.H. "Pete" and Juanita Armstrong Crawford. He grew up on a farm in the Worthington community and was a 1968 graduate of Earlham High School. He had worked as a machinist for Fawn Engineering, Ram Manufacturing and Grip-Tite.

He was a 20-year resident of the Desoto-Adel area, moving to the Dallas County Care Facility in 1987 when his health failed. Denny passed away at the facility on November 30.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Juanita Crawford of Toledo; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pete and Karen Hendrickson of Alamogordo, NM, Allen and Ruth Childers of Tama and Keith and Carol Curry of East Moline, Ill.

Memorial contributions may be made to the West Central Mental Health Association of the Dallas County Care Facility.
