Funeral services for H. L. Paull, 102, were held Mon., June 1 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. David Bauer officiating. Mr. Paull died May 29, 1992 of a stroke at Bethesda Care Center where he was a resident.
He was born May 22, 1890 in Dubuque to George Marion and Elizabeth (Lightfoot) Paull and married Anna Thompson March 7, 1913 in What Cheer. He was a retired banker, having been employed by Union State Bank, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star Lodge and Rotary Club, all of Winterset. He was a Winterset and Madison County resident since 1935, coming from Gibson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, a brother, and two sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Bill of Winterset and Harvey of Greenfield; five grandchildren; 12 Great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Burial was at Winterset Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County Memorial Hospital.
