Funeral services were held Nov. 25 at First United Methodist Church for Neva McKibban of Winterset, who died at Des Moines General Hospital on Nov. 21 at the age of 80.
Born in Warren County on August 6, 1901, she was the daughter of Earl and Lucinda Bryant Felton.
On May 31, 1924 she married Nelson J. McKibban in Winterset. Mr. McKibban died in 1972.
Mrs. McKIbban was active in the Multi-Purpose Center and leader of the Hillbilly Band. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Preceding her death were her parents; husband; and an infant son/
Survivors include a son, Lloyd McKibban of Greenfiled; a daugher, Mrs. Louise Forsyth of Winterset; a brother, J. B. Felton of Waukee; two sisters, Neola Silliman of Winterset and Mrs. Pauline Rippey of Leon; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Clark Cemetery in Madison County.
