Funeral services for Danielle R. Anker, 18-month-old daughter of Jeffrey and Marlis Anker of Polk City, were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Polk City. Burial was at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines, with Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Madrid in charge of arrangements.

Danielle R. Anker was born June 30, 1993 in Des Moines. She died Sunday, Jan. 22 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Survivors include her parents, Jeffrey and Marlis Anker of Polk City; her sister, Alison at home; grandparents, Sandy Gethmann of Ankeny, Don and Carolyn Anker of Georgetown, Texas and Leslie and Linda Rnoutier of Grinnell; and great-grandparents, Harold Galloway of Grinnell, Truman and Lucille Powell of Menlo, Mildred Anker of Earlham, Robert and Charlotte Gethmann of Gladbrook, and Brook Lamb of Grinnell.
