Willis White, better known as Wid White, died yesterday afternoon at the age of 50. He had been afflicted and suffered much during the last years of his life.
He was the son of J. S. White, one of the very early settlers of Winterset. One brother, O. M. White, a resident of Portland, Oregon, and a sister, Mrs. Russell, resides in Omaha.
Funeral Services were held from the Ramsey undertaking parlors, and burial in the Winterset Cemetery.

Wilbur White, a resident for fifty years of Winterset, died at the John Potter residence Tuesday. He had been an invalid for several years and was unable to walk.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. White, who lived many years in Winterset and died here. His brother, Oliver, lives in Oregon and his sister, Mrs. Nina Russell, in Omaha.
The funeral occurs this afternoon.
