Death of Mrs. J. R. Andrews

Earlham. October 17. Special -

The funeral of the late Mrs. J. R. Andrews was held Sunday afternoon from her late residence to the Friends church, where Rev. Bernice Riddel pastor of the Bear Creek church conducted the service assisted by the local minister, Rev. Simon Hester. Mrs. Andrews died at her home shortly after 9 o'clock following an illness of less than a week with a heart attack. She was 63 years of age.

Besides her husband she leaves to mourn two sons, Ollie and Arthur of Sugar City, Colorado, and three daughters, Mrs. Clyde Nolte, Mrs. Wilbur Hoskins and Mrs. Melva Maxon of Montana; two brothers, Will and Willard Morgan of Casey, and three sisters, Mrs. I. E. Wright of Oskaloosa; Mrs. Emma Moore of near Stuart, and a sister out west. The pall bearers were Alva Carey, Clarence Wilson, Levi Cook, Anson Hadley, Edgar Benson and Peter Cook.

Coordinator's note: Transcribed as published. Son Arthur's gravestone says "Andrew" and a number of vital records also say the surname is "Andrew".
