Minnie Beggart was born Jan. 26, 1885 at Marysville, Kans., and died Sept. 2, 1921 at the age of 36 years, 7 months and 7 days. She was united in marriage to John O'Brien in 1902. To this union were born four children, one of whom died in infancy. Those still living are Leone, Anna and Mary Irene, the latter less than two weeks old. Mrs. O'Brien was of a kind and loving disposition, loved by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed by her friends and neighbors, as well as by her immediate family. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church of which she was a member, on Sept. 4 at 11 o'clock. After the sermon by Rev. L. B. Shannon, the Woman's Relief Corps took charge and gave their burial services; Mrs. O'Brien being a charter member of that order. The pall bearers were members of the Relief Corps. Those present from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beggart, brother of the deceased, and Russell and Mabel Sanford of Kansas. Interment was in Peru cemetery.
