Death of Mrs. Will King

Mrs. Fred Montgomery recently received word of the death of her cousin, Mrs. Will King, of Fillmore, California. She will be remembered here as Miss Clara Slinker. She was the daughter of Levi Slinker, who has lived near Truro for many years. Mrs. King taught in the schools here for a number of years when E. R. Zeller was superintendent. Miss Sarah King, a daughter of Mrs. King, is a missionary at Mutumbara, Africa, and her work is well known to people interested in missions. The November issue of the paper, "The Missionary Friend," carried her picture and an article telling of her work. She had been visiting her mother.
