The wife of Isaac Gifford died on Sunday, the 16th, from the effects of injuries received in falling while doing a washing. She leaves a husband, two little boys and two little girls to mourn her loss. The I.O.O.F.'s took charge of the arrangements for the burial; funeral by the Rev. C. Hoover at the church in East Peru.

Sarah A. Gifford of East Peru, died Sunday the 16th inst. after two weeks illness. She had been washing and slipped and fell across a tub, causing injuries resulting in her death. She was buried Monday.
