Marjorie Maxine Bass Miles, 92, died Jan. 18, 2007, at her home in Sun Lakes, Ariz.
The cremains will be interred in Scottsdale, Ariz., at Green Acres Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset.
Marjorie Miles was born in Winterset to Fred and Grace (Thornbrugh) Compton and was a 1932 graduate of Winterset High School. Her marriage to William (Ted) Bass took place July 5, 1937, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset, where she continued to be a member. Following the death of her first husband, Marjorie married Dan Miles of Winterset in 1968. In 1976, she and Dan moved to Mesa, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by both husbands; one daughter, Donna Rae Bass; and a sister, Dorothy Madalyn Compton.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Bass Jackson of Sun Lakes, Ariz., and Rita Bass Hood of Omaha, Neb.; one son, Mike Bass of Coppell, Texas; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
