Had Farmed South of Truro For The Past 23 Years
Funeral services for George Henry Michael were held Monday afternoon, June 17 from the Congregational Christian church at Truro.
Mr. Michael died June 13 at his farm home south of Truro. He was 72 years of age.
The son of William A. and Rebecca Clapp Michael he was born Sept. 9, 1890 at Herndon, Pennsylvania. He was married to the former Nellie M. Sell on Feb. 2, 1916 at Adel, Iowa.
Mr. Michael had farmed near Truro in Ohio township for the past 23 years. He was a member of the Truro Masonic lodge and a member of the Congregational-Christian church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Harry L. Michael of Truro and Raymond Harold Michael of Lufkin, Texas; one sister, Mary Fenton of Herndon, Pa.; one brother, Charles E. Michael of Butte, Montana.
Officiating at the services Monday afternoon was the Rev. Millard Marshall. Burial was in the Hartman cemetery near Truro.
